Simon Olley is a ceramic artist renowned for his hand-thrown, sgraffito-decorated pottery that often celebrates the life of his Labrador Retriever, Uly. Beginning his journey with clay at the age of nine, Olley later pursued a career in graphic design and illustration in London before returning to ceramics. Working from his home studio in Kent, he crafts unique pieces using earthenware, stoneware, and porcelain clays, which he decorates by hand without the use of stencils or decals.
