Clare Spindler is a London-based potter specializing in functional ceramics crafted from stoneware and porcelain. Her work is characterized by streamlined, architectural forms in muted, natural tones, occasionally accented with vibrant colors.
While primarily focused on wheel-thrown pieces, Clare also creates decorative items that combine thrown, altered, and hand-built components. She has been a full-time potter and teacher since 2016, managing the studio at In Production from Turning Earth in Leyton and teaching at both Turning Earth and Crown Works Pottery.
Clare discovered her passion for ceramics during her architecture studies in the United States and continues to explore various firing techniques, including reduction gas, soda, and wood firing.

You can borrow from as little as £250 up to a maximum of £25,000 . We then spread the cost of your purchase over 10 months with an interest free loan. For instance, if you buy a painting from us that costs £300 through the own art scheme, you would pay £30 in 10 monthly installments.
