Alice Thomson is a painter and part-time art teacher working from home in Cambridge. She studied a degree in Illustration at Harrow College of Art, and has since worked as a freelance artist. Alice has always exhibited locally and is recognised by her fresh colourful and spontaneous style, particularly scenes from Cambridge. She works in mixed media sometimes laying collage first then applying ink pastel and paint to her illustrations. She has a reportage style that captures a moment, carrying a camera and sketchbook wherever she goes.
