Graham Rider

Graham has been a painter for over 40 years, with most of that time having been spent painting Beach and Landscapes. He particularly loves the dunes and skies of the hinterland between land and sea.  Graham tries to capture the feeling of what it is like to be there, the rush of the light and colours, the crashing of the waves, the end of the anticipation of getting to the sea. His style is more impressionist than photographic. The softness of the sand and the rustle of the grasses is something that greatly appeals to him.

Graham has painted commissions of Liverpool St Station for Railtrack (three large paintings for their boardroom that are now in the National Railways Museum), Covent Garden for Guardian Royal Properties and he has paintings in National, Corporate and Private Collections in the UK and abroad.
