Cambridge contemporary art is on (we think) one of the most beautiful streets in the world! The gallery is nestled between King's College, Gonville and Caius College, Trinity College, St John's College and down the street from the bookshop Heffers.

Accessibility: We hope that everyone enjoys their experience in the gallery. If you require assistance please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help. Entrance to the gallery on Trinity Street is step free.

Contact us on 01223 324 222 or email info@cambridgegallery.co.uk for all general access queries

Parking: If you are driving to Cambridge, the closest car park to the gallery is Park Street, or the Grand Arcade carpark is about 10 mins walk away. You can also use the Park and Ride which runs 7 days a week. If you get off the Park and Ride bus on Bridge Street, the gallery is 5mins walk away. You can walk from the Drummer Street or Downing Street bus stops in 15mins. You can find more information about parking here

Collecting artwork: If you are driving to the gallery to collect artwork, there is a one-way system and you will need to approach from Jesus Lane. There are bollards at the end of the Trinity Street, which means that you can't drive down the street to the gallery between 10am-4pm Monday - Saturday. The bollards are down all day on Sundays - there are no restrictions on Sundays.

Train: There is a fast and frequent train service from London King’s Cross & London Liverpool Street to Cambridge. We are a 35min walk from the train station. To catch a bus from Cambridge railway station into the city centre look for the Citi 1, Citi 3 or Citi 7 services.

Bus: If you are travelling into town on the bus the closest stops to the gallery are on Bridge Street, Jesus Lane or Emmanual Street (by Drummer Street bus station). They are about 5-15mins walk away.

Cycling in Cambridge is one of the best ways to see the city.  See the Official Cambridge Cycling Map for routes around the city.

Submitting work to the gallery

cambridge contemporary art welcomes artists to submit work for consideration. Please send us an email at admin@cambridgegallery.co.uk with images of your best, most recent work along with prices and dimensions of your work. Alternatively, direct our attention to your website.

Please note that we only sell work that has been handmade in the UK. We sell handmade ceramics, glass, prints, paintings, sculptures and cards. We don't sell jewellery, textiles, clothes, furniture, cosmetics, giclee prints or photography.

Due to the high volume of applications and enquiries we receive we are unable to provide personalised feedback to unsuccessful submissions.
