John Duffin was born in Cumbria and currently lives and works in London. He studied BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths’ College, University of London (1985-88) and MA Printmaking at Central St Martins, University of the Arts London 1988-90.
His prints and paintings of urban environments capture the dynamism and energy of modern city life, chronicling the narratives of contemporary living. He has won many prizes for his printmaking and painting, and his work is in many public and private collections in the UK and abroad.
John works mainly in the medium of etching and spends long hours drawing on the copper plates to create light and shade, working from small pencil drawings he makes while out walking in the city streets.

You can choose any work with a retail price between £250 and £25,000 from our great selection of prints, paintings, ceramics, sculpture, glass and wood. It is not possible to buy gift vouchers with the Own Art Scheme.
You can borrow from as little as £250 up to a maximum of £25,000 . We then spread the cost of your purchase over 10 months with an interest free loan. For instance, if you buy a painting from us that costs £300 through the own art scheme, you would pay £30 in 10 monthly installments.
