Verity Pulford is a Glass Artist living and working in North Wales. She studied Applied Art/Architectural Glass at N.E.W.I in 2006 and gained a 1st Class Hons. Degree.
She has recently become a member of the prestigious Guild of Makers in Wales.
Verity creates wall pieces, functional ware, jewellery and architectural commissions using fusing, sandblasting, hand-painting and etching, and she sells and exhibits her work in galleries and outlets throughout the U.K.
The artist’s inspiration for her current work comes from the stunning countryside and wildlife around her in North Wales. She is fascinated by the ever changing light and the magical qualities this gives the plants and trees within the landscape. She sketches, photographs and collects plants whilst out walking and when she returns to her glass workshop, she tries to capture the magic, the shapes and light, which she finds so beautiful. Pulford’s work is constantly evolving- every piece being unique.
