Sue Jones is an Artist, Printmaker, Tutor, Consultant, and founder organiser of the Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale, an exhibition to promote hand-pulled original print in our region. Sue worked as Lead Tutor and Studio Manager at the Curwen Print Study Centre for 17 years. She devised and taught many of the workshops including the Certificate in Printmaking. Sue currently runs workshops at the ACE Foundation, Stapleford Granary, Gainsborough house, and from her own studio. Sues abstract prints are inspired by landscape and are infused with a sense of mystery, vitality, colour and space. The Monotypes, are unique, evolved over time, constructed of many layers. Working with many techniques, Sue currently enjoys experimenting with Photopolymer Gravure, and photolithography from her own studio Stoneman Press, and is an Artist Facilitator with Kettles Yard, Cambridge University.
