Mychael Barratt was born in Toronto, Canada and has been living and working in the UK since 1984. He is a painter and printmaker whose detailed work is often as narrative as it is visual. Mychael is inspired by a wide range of sources, from fairy tales and other literature through to classic paintings. He describes how, above all else is his desire to communicate his preoccupations and passions whilst never forsaking his sense of humour or technique.
