Janice Ellis-Brown

Janice's work explores the significance we often attribute to objects or things and the way in which they aid us in remembering.

Objects, man made or from the natural world often evoke or trigger a past memory of a time, a place or a person. Much of her work endeavours to capture these fleeting moments.

Janice works from a small home based studio in Cambridgeshire using a variety of print making techniques including collagraph, which gives her prints a unique and individual quality.

Janice's most recent work is a series of mini prints using cut card collagraph techniques and inspired by places of particular significance to her - Norfolk, her home county, Mid Wales and Iceland.

Go to our Printmaking Techniques page for more information on how these prints are created
