David Hunt

After a career that has ranged from working on oil rigs in Africa and Central Asia to running his own business building shepherd's huts for private clients David Hunt has now returned to his first loves of drawing and draftsmanship. He is mostly self taught and has studied intaglio etching techniques with john Howard R.E. and Melvyn Petterson R.E.. The natural world has always been David's abiding interest and, inspired by the fields and marshland around where he lives, wildlife and landscape have always been a constant theme; He says that there is no greater pleasure than a day spent out and about with his binoculars and a sketch book.
