Clare Curtis

Clare Curtis studied Illustration and Printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, and now works and prints by the sea, in the Suffolk house that she grew up in. She is influenced by 20th century British Art and Design, and her work often depicts botanical subjects and the East Anglian coast with its jumble of flotsam and jetsam, shacks and boats. Her main focus is relief printmaking, for which she uses traditional printing methods.
