Penny Bhadresa

In 1993 Penny Bhadresa left her job as Press Officer at the Museum of London to do a degree in Art and Design and graduated in 1995 from the University of East Anglia. Since then she has been steadily building a reputation for her work, exhibiting at galleries in East Anglia and the West Country.

Penny Bhadresa works in a variety of media but principally linocut, mixed media, acrylic and watercolour. Her subject matter reflects her interest in nature, landscape, garden and architectural settings and art traditions of different cultures.
Colour, texture, pattern and line are all significant elements in her work and together, combine to produce work that is strong and uplifting in its impact.
