Ed Boxall

Ed completed an MA in Illustration at Saint Martins College in 1999 and has gone on to write and illustrate several children's books for Walker books.

The 'Here he Comes…' prints are a series of wood block prints all about Ed's recent experience of becoming a father. The images explore the moments of enchantment, wonder, silliness and exhaustion that parenthood brings. Ed uses fantasy and visual metaphor in a natural, organic way when reality is not enough to express the emotion in a moment.

The prints are printed by hand on coloured handmade paper.
