Charlotte Cornish

Charlotte Cornish was born in Cambridge in 1967.

She studied Printmaking at the University of Brighton (1986–90) and went on to study Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art, London in 1992.

Charlotte now lives and works in East Anglia.

Her paintings and hand-made prints are bold, vibrant abstract works, which explore the relationship between colour and emotion. Charlotte's work is greatly influenced by her travels around the world to places such as Macau and Mexico.

She has received awards and commissions including the Rosa Morrison Scholarship and the E.S.C.C. Travel Award.

Charlotte has had a number sell out shows at Cambridge Contemporary Art and has widely exhibited throughout the U.K
