Aimee Birnbaum

Aimee's love of the human form and of dance are vividly expressed by her almost mystical watercolours of figures picking apples, at sea in magical boats, or tangoing in thirties costumes.
The journalist Ian McKay wrote of Aimee Birnbaum:
"Her images emerge from a deep and sustained understanding of human spirit and expression through movement."

Critic Linda Talbot wrote "she reflects the ancients' love of dancing, endowing her figures with the timelessness of myth."

Aimee Birnbaum is a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours.
