Ross Loveday

Ross Loveday was born in Bargoed in 1946.

He studied Optometry at the University of Wales, Cardiff and has practised as an ophthalmic optician for many years. Since the early 1990s Loveday has pursued his interest in painting and is now a professional painter.

Ross now lives and works in East Anglia.

Inspired by the landscape, Loveday captures the subtle and dramatic changes caused by a brewing storm or a spring morning.

His work has featured in numerous public and private collections including Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge, Beecroft Gallery Collections, B.T. H.R.H. Prince of Wales and Warner Bros. Music.
