Estelle Lankester

I am a glass designer working mainly in fused glass. All items are hand crafted with inspiration garnered from every day living and the world around us. I love creating texture and utilising the light reflective properties of glass. I make items of my own design which I sell through various galleries and Open Studios.
I also enjoy the challenge of commissions, following a brief to create something truly unique.

My husband is a 3rd generation leaded light maker and continues to encourage me to follow my own creative path in the glass world.

I enjoy both having my work exhibited as well as teaching glass fusing at the Stained Glass Museum in Ely Cathedral. This involves workshops with both interested adults and groups of school children.
