Carrie Paxton

I make bowls, plates and panels using float glass with applied frits and enamels.
Each piece is fired up to three times, building the design and depth of colour. The final stage slumps the piece into a mould.

I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) in Architectural Glass in 1999, and completed a post graduate diploma in Design in 2000, also from ECA.
Originally, I was a graphic designer and my designs reflect my interest in line, design and pattern.

My influences are 1950's design and pattern, particularly fabric and wallpaper.

Prices range from: £13 - £77
