Jenny Reading

Jenny Reading was born in rural North Bucks where she had an agricultural upbringing allowing her close contact with animals and the natural environment.

She studied ceramics at the College of West Anglia.

She specialises in ceramic sculptures of Lurcher dogs. She uses craft crank clay and sometimes with stoneware slip to obtain a smooth finish. They are then coloured with various metal oxides and fired at stoneware temperatures.
