Emma Birts

Emma was born in London in 1979 and has spent most of her life in Bath. Following an Art Foundation course at The University of West of England (1998 - 1999) Emma went on to study Graphic Design at Bournemouth Art Institute graduating in 2002. She currently runs an art Gallery at Bath and works on her ceramics from her studio at home in Bristol.

Brought up in the countryside surrounded by dogs, cats and other animals, these characters continue to inspire Emma's work and imagination. Emma aims to produce fun, quirky and affordable art for everybody. Every piece is individually sculpted in clay and painted to ensure each character it's own personality!
